Re: Serpentine Belt Conversion

I do this as well, since on mine the two bolts are visible once i climb down into the bilge.

But the question remains, would moving to even a two belt serpentine belt set up, be worth the trouble. The wider belts seem like they would last longer and not create the belt dust.

Re: dry bilge

Just did this install. Moves water well, we will have to see the final result. Its set to pump 1 minute twice a day.

For the less handy there are now cheaper options available for less than 200 bucks at retailers like West Marine.

Re: At a lost

This was pretty much built from scratch, as what started as a support the sagging counter, quickly became a full rip out and an redo. The counter came from IKEA for about $80, the panels were all stained plywood. While I did reuse the doors and drawers, you can pick up these pretty cheap at any home...

Re: At a lost

I did this when i had to replace the galley after the termites got through with it. Went with a dual voltage fridge over the engine box for easier access, as I am tall. Lost the over counter storage, but with the extra room gained by moving the sink, i think i came out ahead. Still haven't figured o...
