hynautic steering cylinder
Can anyone confirm that the Hynautic K22 part# 81259 is the replacement steering cylinder for a 1987 33 Sportfish? Rob Marsh rob@wyerivermarine.com

Thank you everyone for your input. Although the boat is hard to turn too, my concern is that at speeds in excess of 22 knots, with rudder hard over, the boat basically wants to lean over on one chine and go straight. It seems to me that the rudders are stalling. It may be that the rudders on my boat...

Frank, Thanks for your comments. Any chance you can email me a few photos of your port exhaust run out of the back of the engine? Tony Athens from Seaboard has a great setup but I'd like to avoid the $3,500.00 costs if possible. Note photo at link below. http://s1379.photobucket.com/user/WyeRiverMar...

Exhaust for Cummins repower
We are finishing up the exhaust system as part of the Cummins 6BTA repower. Cummins wants us to install surge tubes as well as a few other modifications. We have an idea as to how we can make it work but would really like to hear/see from others who have done this already. The port engine is a desig...
