Hi Joe The next time that you are on your boat can you take a picture of the inverter installation under the boats sink. Is it mounted on the side of the cabinet or on top of the fiberglass engine cover? Thanks Don in Mystic

You can still get the identical replacement refrigerator that was used on the 89 sport fish if you look on line. The original oak door front slides right in too. Remove the cabin door and front door and brackets from unit get into cabin. Tilt unit towards you to get under counter top as it slides under. The 110v unit runs off an inverter and lasts almost a week off one 8D battery.

It's mounted on the side & through bolted to the teak. I then mounted the remote panel just above it, so I didn't have to open the door to see the display or turn on or off. Make your battery leads a little longer so you can attach them before final mounting. Joe Tomaini 1988 Sportfish Attitude Adjustment II Fort Lauderdale, FL

Richard Gilman... I see the above is your first post.. so let me be the first to welcome you to our B33 sandbox. Here you will find a group of dedicated guys (and a lady or two) who appreciates the design and construction of the classic Bertram 33.. Sportfish or Flybridge Cruiser. There is a wealth of information here at your fingertips.. there is a search function that can lead you to old posts in the site archives, and if that doesn't provide you with the answers you need just post a question and it will be answered, usually by several people. To get things started.. it would be a good idea if you gave us some info about where you are, where you keep your boat, and details about your boat (year, style engines, any major work you have done to her, etc, etc.), this gives us all a chance to learn a little bit about you without us all asking you a bunch of questions. Welcome aboard! PS.. BTW: I just looked at your profile.. are you named after your town, or is the town named after you?
