Welcome back everyone!
Welcome back everyone!
The site is not 100% transferred over and updated, and I will be doing more modifications in the next couple weeks to fine tune it, but it is serviceable enough to go ahead and make live again now, probably about 90% of the way there. We've updated everything, from the look and feel, to a modern forum and database (all without losing our old stuff!) to a more modern and secure ISP. I'll give some details later about all that transpired, but for now, just wanted to welcome everyone back!
NOTE: You may have to reset your password, not sure. If you do need to, that feature may be wonky too since we didn't get a chance to test it without making the site live first. I'll send an update when I have more info.

And no, this is NOT and April Fool's joke. LOL. Though now I have to question my wisdom in re-launching the site on April Fool's Day, haha!

Re: Welcome back everyone!
So, one thing Doug helped me figure out is that if you signed up with an email you don't use anymore, you will have a hard time resetting your password, because that is where the reset will go to. If you need help, please email me at webmaster@bertram33.com and I can assist.

Couple other pointers...don't use any of your old bookmarks, you will have to set new ones. Also, clear your browser's cache to make sure you don't have any crufty stuff lying around from the old site.

Re: Welcome back everyone!
Yeah, there are some cosemtics I will be adjusting going forward, and probably trying to unlock some newer more modern features too, but none of that blocks the basic forum functionality, so it will be great to see everybody get back online as they can.

Re: Welcome back everyone!
Honestly, I think you'd be better off using your old stuff. I can help you get it revived in less than 5 minutes probably. You lose all your historical data by creating a new user, and the biggest part of my effort to save the forum was to NOT lose historical data, lol. Just send me an email at webmaster@bertram33.com, and I will send you back your original username and a temporary password.

Thanks Joe. It was a real labor of love, let me tell you! Just glad the heavy lifting is done. I have more work to do, but it will be small incremental stuff. Trying to get the other pages of the site back up next.

David,
Thank you for getting me back in. The web page looks great in the new format. I hope that you and your family are keeping safe during this time.
