Brian, I store at a small yard (Bulman Marine at Kings Landing) on the North River a mile upstream from my house. I need Simms Bros. to pull it with their trailer as the yard trailer is too small. It's a high tide pull in a small ditch. I kind of pay twice as I get no break for not using their trailer. 45.00/ft x 33 plus 295.00 for Simms each way. Its right around the corner though and a nice friendly place. Your monster probably would not fit.

Guys after nixing the feeble hardtop quote of $6k I went back to a canvas top laced to the piping $1500.00 installed. I have two more local places to speak with but that seems like a fair price.

Put a deposit down on a new laced soft top yesterday. They showed me the fabric that they are going to use and I was surprised to see it was industrial grade vinyl. They said it was stronger more waterproof and would last longer than Sunbrella. I’m not sure what the name of the product is but I will find out when they reopen. Any thoughts on which way to go. Happy New Year.

Tony, Happy New Year. I’d go with a hardtop if it were me. Aside from the diesels, it’s been the smartest money I’ve spent on the boat.

A piece of thin starboard glued and screwed to the inner ring of the pipes. Materials were $2k install an additional $4K. That’s 6 for a flimsy piece of board that has no sides and doesn’t cover the outer pipe that the existing soft top is laced to. I’d spend between 3 and 4 if I got what I wanted.
