Hi all, I just bought a 1976 35 convertible and the hatch, hinges need to be replaced as they are the originals which are no longer manufactured. I'm curious if anyone has experience with that. I understand it's measurements are 24x24 hole cutout - i'm hoping not to have to do any fiberglass work in order replace it. I've talked to high tide marine and they've suggested a Bomar like here:

I believe that is the hatch on my 33. Nice product. Try Defender they have a great selection of brands including Bomar and better pricing.

My hatch has 4 latches. 2 at the front like the one shown and 1 on each side. Though I could not find an exact match here. I do know that I've bought parts from them in the past:

A couple of years ago I needed a replacement rubber gasket and some new hatch dogs for my fwd hatch on my 1983 33 FBC. I asked around and found that Bomar had made most of the hatches for Bertram 31s and 33s, and I suspect your B35. I called Bomar and they said they had parts for most of their older hatches. I bought everything I needed for the fwd hatch as well as the side windows. Prices were reasonable and the people were very helpful.
