New A/C

Hello everyone,
I'm in the process of reverting all 110V currents to 220V, since I'm locating to Greece. The boat is a 33BFC.
So far, the devices requiring 110V are the following:
- Oven: it will be replaced with one more fridge
- Chargers: work with both 110V and 220V
- Heater: it will be replaced with a new one 220V
- Air conditioner: here we have an issue.
The unit is a 16K BTU split one of cruisair and two fan coils, really old. I have not found any way to make it work (even with a 220V->110V converter).
So unless you have any proposal on how to make the existing work, I have to replace it.
I would like not to go with a new split unit, since the prices are too much. Therefore, I'm looking for a self-contained unit. I have difficulties to understand how many BTUs are sufficient, considering that insulation is not the best, and during summer we may reach up to 40C.
Moreover, I have concerns if a single e.g. 16K BTU with proper ducting to the cabins and the saloon will be better compared to two smaller ones, one for the cabins and one for the saloon.
Do you have any experience to share?
thank you very much in advance!
