Exhaust leak

Hi all. After going for a short run today and then performing some routine fall maintenance, I was hearing a water leak below deck. Turns out it’s an exhaust hose leak on the input side of the starboard muffler where it clamps to the 5” hose.
Any suggestions to access it to replace the clamps other than pulling up the cockpit sole?

Hi Justin,

Sorry to hear about your leak. What year is your boat? Gas or diesel? You may be able to access it by removing the side cockpit panel. It's been awhile since I've been in there, but you may get lucky.

Hi, I am in the process of changing my fiberglass tank. It had a small leak (diesel).

With the cockpit floor removed, I am changing my exhaust hose as well. Mine is 6”. It was a converted gas boat. Not sure if they were modified when diesels were installed in 2004.

I am happy to take a picture of mine. If they look like mine, you will have to take the cockpit floor off.
