Swim Platform

Post by Gccornelius »

Has anyone had a swim platform made for a 35 Bertram? After the last few weekends, climbing up on the three steps mounted on the transom is not fun. And I’m always afraid someone is going to use the trim tab as a step. Thanks.

George, about ten years ago I purchased one from Butler Marine Products. It is a first class product and was not difficult to install. You will want to know the curve of the transom. Mine is just a bit shorter than the beam which helps when pulling away from docks etc. It has the Starboard plastic inserts and we mounted a pullout swim ladder underneath.
